Really tasty I was really shocked if was very good. Made Mac and cheese added a bunch of vegan butter, plant based milk, dash of paprika, salt and pepper plus a ton of this powder I loved it and so did my omnivore husband who isn’t dairy free.
Delicious! I’ve ordered this cheese 10+ times and will continue to order it. It has the perfectly slightly sweet but still sharp and tangy flavor and you can play around with the consistency and texture (longer in the microwave yields a stringier cheese.) I originally bought it as a shelf stable treat because we were having a rough winter, but now I can’t live without it. I have been vegan 17 years but my partner is omnivore and still prefers this to real cheese when we have our soft pretzels. 10/10
Healthy cheese sauce for everyday use Love cheese dipping sauce for pretty much anything from nachos to pretzels to pasta to salads. but I always worry about eating too much. This vegan cheese sauce freed me from the worries and made me purely enjoy foods with the cheese sauce! ;) Since I saw a review about adding the cheese powder to Buldak ramen, I tried and pleasantly surprised by the spicy yet mild taste of it. Ate it with my kids and they loved it even more than I did. :) It definitely is a must have in your kitchen!

Delicious and easy to make This is so easy to prepare and delicious! I was pleasantly surprised. It is delicious on broccoli. If you prepare it according to the instructions, it can be a little watery, so I recommend playing with it depending on what you are using it for. We will definitely order again. We are newly vegan, so this was a treat.

Decent vegan cheese powder I’ve tried vegan cheese, cheese mixes, and powders for years. I liked this one enough that I bought it again. It’s a powder that you can use just like the kind that comes in macaroni and cheese boxes. So we use our own pasta and can have some good vegan mac and cheese. Honestly I think most people wouldn’t know this is vegan. i appreciate that this doesn’t taste like a lot of vegan cheese powder that’s heavy on the earthy nutritional yeast flavor. This one does though have a slight almost sweet tone, but not enough to be a problem. It’s a good value because you can use less than the instruction say, if you’re using it for something like mac and cheese. I use 3 Tbsp of this powder for a full pound of pasta! (plus about a cup of soymilk and a couple Tbsp of margarine)
Do You Like Sweet Mac & Cheese? If you're the type of person that likes sugar in everything, then you will probably like the taste. If you're like me, I don't care for the sweetness of this product. To me mac & cheese should taste tangy and salty; although, making any product low sodium is fine because the customer can always add salt if they need to.
Not as good as it shows. I have been Vegan for over 11 years and have been looking for a cheese that would milt for mac & cheese. When I saw this thought I would give it a try. The taste was ok but it did not look like cheddar cheese (yellow) it looked like white cheddar. In the video's it looked yellow but did not change from white. It was ok but not worth the money sad to say, was really hoping to find a good one.
Has Wheat In It! I got this for my wife who has numerous allergies, including to wheat. Nowhere on the package shown above or anywhere else does it state there is wheat; it's only on the package I got, in small print at the bottom. Extremely disappointed. EDIT: Magic Jin got back to us and said they did have a wheat issue with this, which they plan to make more apparent; I updated and raised their rating in appreciation of their swift response, and the refund they gave us. While it may not work for us, this company has proven honorable and sincere.
Careful highly addictive. I think it’s more fattening than it reads I love it like crazy with my egg beaters and on my noodles and you name it. I’m not sure I trust the calories because when I withdraw from it, I’m able to drop my weight.
Surprised how yummy it actually it🤗 I was very skeptical about this as it is coconut based and I do not like coconut flavor but this is actually very yummy. I have only used this to add to my boxed vegan Safeway mac n cheese as I like more sauce in it; I tasted it prior to adding and couldn't tell it was coconut so it's worth a shot!
Really good. Close to the real thing I think it's on par with a meltable cheese that's on the cheaper side. Not overly flavorful but still hits the spot when you feel like some nacho cheese and chips or something. This is coming from a lifelong cheese lover. The first batch I made was very globby but I may not have mixed it well or overheated it. It's a little slow to mix at first but just keep at it and it will eventually mix quite well. It does start crusting very quickly too when heating so I suggest microwaving for 15 seconds, stir, and repeat as desired. Stovetop would probably be best but I haven't tried that. The second time turned out great and was smooth and easy to dip. Add some salsa and mix well for a spicy addition. This has been a wonderful discovery for me as a vegan as I haven't found a good meltable vegan cheese for dipping until now! I haven't tried mac and cheese or anything else with it yet.
Cheese for all occasions! We absolutely love this product. Both the original and the sweet versions. We use this to make cheese sauce and sliceable cheese (adding agar agar and other things as we like). We use it on anything and in any format we want or need. This is by far our favorite vegan cheese. We can make. Cheesy vegetables, Mac and cheese, pizza, cheese to slice for burgers / sandwiches / eat alone, dipping sauce, adding it to popcorn to make it cheesy and much more! By far the most versatile and delicious cheese we have found. Let's me make all kinds of things that even my picky eaters absolutely love! This product is absolutely amazing and wonderful for us. This product replaced so many other cheese products it actually saves us money, is shelf stable (prior to cooking so we can use when we need it) and makes having vegan cheese more available and affordable for us. Now all our cheese needs are absolutely met with this one product! Thank you so much for making This wonderful product! We absolutely love it and fully recommend it!

Finally a good cheese sauce substitute!!! I'm super lactose intolerant and this is the closest I've ever gotten to a fake cheese tasting like real cheese and I will be buying this from now on! You do have to use a lot of it to get a nice cheese sauce going. Still taste good on leftovers.

Really good I read a bunch of the reviews there was white not yellow. Mine very much had that cheesy color to it I guess you could say it is sweet, but not as sweet as the powder from Kraft Vegan mac & cheese. I didn't think it was overly sweet and I'm really not into sweet things lately. I also felt like it was not salty For some people could be a good thing I feel like you could make it stronger or more subtle based on the amount of water and powder that you add. I put it in the microwave for a few seconds watched it stirred it up super easy to make. I didn't have any issues with consistency. Am going to try more again later So far, very happy with this order, but will update
Yummy! Holy delicious, Batman! Agree with others that it’s too watery if made according to the instructions, but it’s easy to play around with the ratios. Makes amazing mac n cheese! I think if you simmered it with some poblanos, it’d make a great nacho dip as well. Definitely very versatile! And way cheaper than getting vegan mac n cheese packages with only enough for one meal. I got the original kind and I don’t taste coconut at all.

This product lives up to its name! This is truly magic! As a person who cannot tolerate dairy, I’ve been in search of the perfect substitute for making macaroni and cheese and nachos. Most brands are disgusting. Don’t even try anything by Daiya it’s the absolute worst. When I found this powder I was skeptical given all the bad experiences I’ve had. All I have to say is wow!! I made tacos on the first try, and this blended into the perfect nacho cheese sauce with the addition of cashew cream and nutritional yeast. The next day since I could not wait, I made macaroni and cheese. It was delicious! The texture is perfect! My only suggestion is to add more liquid than what is listed on the package. Also, skip the microwave and mix up your sauce in a saucepan with a whisk. I even dusted this on popcorn and it was so delicious! Definitely give it a try if you are dairy free!
I BELIEVE IN MAGIC! I, along with most other vegans I know, persistently search for and try recipes that mimic cheese sauce for mac n’ cheese. It had thus far been a futile endeavor for me. I have tried recipes ranging from combinations of blended vegetables to one using oatmeal. Some come close to the creaminess of melted cheese, but none ever came close to the taste. A major brand of cheese analogs produces a great tasting “cheese” sauce, but it contains enough sodium to alarm most cardiologists. Enter Magic Cheese! Low sodium, shelf stable, super easy to prepare, creamy, and the nearest taste to real cheese I have found in a commercial cheese analog. I am under your spell, Magic Cheese!
Tastes like the real thing! I realize vegans aren’t concerned with how close to ‘the real thing’ some substitutes taste. However, I point this out because this can be used in everyday cooking for the entire family. It isn’t necessary to make a vegan dish and a ‘regular’ dish. It really is quite good and very easy to make. So try some, and for the entire group without mentioning it’s vegan. I’ll bet you get a yummy response from all your guests and/or family. Because it’s that good!
Functional Simplicity 10 stars would be better. Trying to find a dairy free cheese is a real pain finally I have found a delicious cheese sauce that is dairy free. This is pretty tasty! Reminiscent of the processed cheese I used to use on Nachos. Of course it doesn't taste exactly like cheese, but it's very good. Next time I'll try it with some salsa in it for my Nachos. Still want to try it in Mac & Cheese. I just bought another bag.

yum i have been telling everyone about this. it is PERFECT. if you like mac n' cheese the easy way, this is the product for you. i like to mix in vegan sour cream instead of milk to make it nice and creamy. sometimes i add some sweet corn and some truffle zest. i will DEFINITELY be buying more of this regularly. and i am a picky eater.
